For the past seven decades, The DofE Charity has inspired and transformed the lives of millions of young people from all walks of life. From volunteering to physical activities, life skills to expeditions, achieving a DofE Award is a passport to a brighter future, valued by employers and universities.
Here at Ajax we encourage young people to achieve a DofE Award. Our core Scouting Badges (including the Chief Scout’s Award) are designed to work alongside and compliment the DofE Scheme. Building on its foundations, we extend the activities undertaken.
We deliver all levels of the Award starting at Bronze towards the end of Scout Troop, through to Gold, either in the Explorer Unit or as Part of the Scout Network. We work with each young person to develop an individual plan through the awards.
Over the years, Ajax has organised a number of exciting expeditions, both on land and water. These have included:
